Delete your account from Settings
A new self-serve flow under Settings → Account lets you delete your own profile, with a last-admin guard so an organisation cannot be orphaned.
Under Settings → Account → Delete account there is a new self-serve flow. Use it if you no longer need access to Pointnode.
What it does
- Removes your organisation memberships and notification rules.
- Tombstones your profile so audit-log foreign keys stay valid for the safety-retention period referenced in our Privacy Policy. Your name is replaced with a placeholder and your email is rewritten — you can no longer sign in.
- Signs you out of every device immediately.
If you are an Organisation Admin
We will not let you delete an account that is the only Organisation Admin on any organisation — an organisation would be left without an owner, with no way for the rest of the team to manage billing or access. Promote someone else to Organisation Admin first, or contact support@pointnode.io if a transfer is needed.
