Design
A calmer, denser interface built for long shifts
A full redesign of every page: a permanent dark sidebar, a new Overview landing page that leads with what needs attention, tighter tables, and a top bar carrying search, alarms and your inbox everywhere.
The platform now has a consistent interface language applied to every page rather than a design that drifted screen by screen. The goal was straightforward: someone who lives in this product all day should be able to answer three questions within five seconds of landing anywhere — what am I looking at, what needs my attention, and what should I do next.
The visible changes
- A new Overview page is where you land after signing in. It leads with what needs attention rather than a wall of tiles: assets needing action, records coming due, activity over the last period, and anything the platform wants to flag.
- A top bar on every page carries your location in the product, the current alarm count, organisation switcher, search (press ⌘K), your inbox with an unread count, and your account menu.
- The sidebar is now permanently dark in both light and dark themes, so navigation stays visually separate from content and your eye learns where to go.
- Denser tables and lists. More rows visible without scrolling, consistent row heights, and a count at the foot of every list so you know how much you are looking at.
- Quieter chrome. Softer shadows, tighter corners, and flat fills. Contrast is spent on your data rather than on decoration.
Your dashboards, widget layouts, saved configuration, alarms and notification rules all carry over untouched.
